Martin Luther King, Jr. Charter School of Excellence is a Level 1 Massachusetts public school. Level 1 is the top ranking. MLK black/African American scholars are number 1 among Massachusetts elementary schools in student growth in math, the amount students learn in one school year. Among Hispanic/Latino Massachusetts elementary school students, MLK’s scholars rank in the 90th percentile in math. Among black/African American students, our scholars are in the 93rd percentile in science. Our black/African American scholars are in the 95th percentile in math.
